Mississippi DMV Information
Mississippi's CDL skills test locations include Jackson (MDEQ facility), Gulfport, Tupelo, Hattiesburg, and Greenville. You must schedule an appointment online at drivesafe.ms.gov. The fee for the Combination Vehicles endorsement is $7.00 plus the standard CDL test fee of $50.00. Payment by credit card or money order only – no cash.
Walk-ins are not accepted. Arrive 30 minutes early. Bring your out-of-state CDL permit (if applicable), Social Security card, and proof of Mississippi residency. The test includes a pre-trip inspection (50 points), a basic controls section (30 points), and a road test (100 points). You need 80% on each section to pass.
